Follifoot secured an outstanding result by lifting the Chappell Cup at Ilkley on Bank Holliday Monday. It was the first time the Club has won an Airedale & Wharfedale League Trophy since joining the League in 1963.
The main resistance was from Tom Cumming (55) but when he fell to a brilliant catch in the deep by Mike Milligan the end was near. A late flourish from Harden tail-enders took them to a final 165 all out. Jim Hudson was judged the Man of the Match for his excellent batting.
Follifot 2ndXI Gained a rare victory over Hall Park. Chasing 177for victory Liam Ford lead the way with 72. Paul Townsend 35 n.o. and a quick fire 22 from Shaun Ledger saw Foot home with one over to spare.
Follifoot's promotion challenge came to an end on Saturday with a comprehesive home defeat against Pool on Saturday. pool scored 208 for 5 off their 50 overs. Follifoot were all out for a paultry 77 with Australian C Loveridge taking 7 for 29 from 12 overs.
